Bio

Emma Draper (Ngā Wairiki, Ngāti Apa) graduated from Toi Whakaari in 2009. Emma has worked on a range of professional film, television, radio and theatre projects. Recent credits include playing the lead role in feature film Reunion starring opposite Julia Ormond, A Mistake starring Elizabeth Banks, directed by Christine Jeffs, Not Even Season 2 directed by Ainsley Gardener and Dana Leaming and This Town lead by Robyn Malcom. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5109175 Emma has recently worked as an actor for Jane Campions director mentorship Programme Wave in the Ocean, supported by Netflix. In 2021 Emma was a national finalist in the New Zealand Raw Comedy Quest. She has also been the recipient of Best Actress for Wellington in the 48hr film festival and a national nominee for the festival.
