ZACK MCCRACKEN

Zack McCracken relinquished her nursing career for the theatre after being blown away by a visit to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Trained at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, she is a skilled physical performer with sharp comic timing and a penchant for improvisation. She revelled at being a medical clown doctor which blended her love of performance with her enthusiasm for holistic health. Zack's nursing background gives her a grounded approach to acting that shines through in authentic performances from loving grandmas to raunchy home wreckers. Still working as a simulated patient, Zack is now focusing primarily on film and television, bringing her wealth of theatrical experience, physical storytelling and character versatility to screen roles. Outside of work she's trying not to kill herself as she learns to surf, and is still awestruck after being randomly joined by dolphins whilst swimming, and paddling a waka through fluorescent blue phosphorescence at dawn.
